I hate when people tell me" I can't imagine giving away my child or there's other options besides adoption." I didn't plan on getting pregnant and give my daughter to her new family. people didn't know the situation I was in, to choose adoption for her.

You are a very unselfish birth mother and a better person for doing what you felt was best for your child. You are such a better person then a lot of these other "moms" I see that treat their child like crap and don't care. Thank you for letting someone else raise and love that child. I don't think there is enough praise for birth parents like you.
@ginag918 I still get to see grow up and talk and see pictures of her. my situation wasn't the best for her. I didn't want to put her through that, when she needed better. thank you:) it's nice to hear kind words every once and awhile . usually get people saying there opinions. some people don't get it and I dont expect them too.
I can see them saying they can't imagine doing it but exactly what other options are there besides adoption? abortion, or being like Kenya Moore's (Real Housewives of Atlanta)mom giving her to family and ignoring the child's existence even though she was around her all the time causing her to have all kinds of issues smh. The choice is hard it takes a strong willed person to choose to give life and to make the sacrifice to give your child to someone who can give a better life to your child.I lived with my grandparents when I was young and ppl wanted me to be mad at my mom for "giving me up" but I was thankful that she didn't let her ego and pride get in the way of what was best for me which was to be in a healthy stable environment which at the time she could not provide because she was in an abusive situation. It made me love and respect her more that she didn't let what others say cause her to make a bad decision to keep me a child in a toxic situation. Kuddos to you Mom for Putting Your Child First!

You did what you thought was best. Most people in situations get abortions but you didn't you did what was best for your child! Let people talk

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

So as you know, we're on the path of adoption and I found this woman online in a pretty popular pregnancy forum. She made a post about possibly giving her twins for adoption and after talking it over with my significant other, we decided there would be no harm in emailing her. I'll post her response in the comments but please tell me, is this how it normally is or is this person possibly using others for gain?
what do I do if my baby daddy isn't going to agree to sign papers to give this baby up for adoption?
@sweetlydunn, most birth parents go through a depression stage after the adoption is finalized. I did and know I feel like a better and stronger person because my daughter. I love the couple that is raising her. they are great people. thank you for your kind words. mean alot
