Thanks a lot for the info that makes me feel better @csp0355 and thanks for the prayers that counts the most@evococa
I have not, but I'll be praying for you and your family and baby <3 my sister is going through something quite rough (water on baby's brain in-utero) so I have seen just how stressful and scary it is, if not walked in it. <3
He didn't end up with CPAM it was actually CLE(congenital lobar emphysema)
My son was born with a congenital lung issue and we were told it could be CPAM, CCAM, or CLE. He was born at 35 weeks and spent 24 days in the nicu on oxygen. He came home without oxygen but was only home for 4 days before he started having trouble breathing. His lung grew faster then expected and started pushing on his esophagus and heart. He had surgery to remove the upper lobe of his left lung at a month and 3 days. After surgery he spent 3 days in the picu and another 4 in a regular hospital room with a chest tube to drain the lung. Now he is 2 and the lower lobe had grown to make up for the missing upper. He has been released from all specialists and doesn't have to take any medicines.
