Is it just me, or is it tacky to brag about getting food stamps? I understand having them if you need them, but don't go around bragging like your doing the world some huge favor by having them....my sister in law is freaking ridiculous. People like my husband bust their hump every week to pay into those food stamps, so buying stuff like lobsters and expensive dinners on your food stamp card and bragging about it isnt gonna make anyone like you any more....I already dont like her, she's just making it that much worse!

it's very tacky, I have them no one knows I even nonchalantly slide the card I don't think it's something you display, it's nothing to be ashamed up but it doesn't make a person cool for using them lol

Ugh! And those type of people are the exact reason I think it should be more regulated than it is and why some people want to completely do away with the program.

We have them and I don't parade them around. To be honest we are struggling and they really help and I don't exactly need everyone knowing my business and passing judgments ya know. So yeah I think that's kinda tacky.

I think its very tacky I feel bad to be even using wic my sister brags about it and how she can buy all this expensive meats and organic stuff that me and my hubby can't even buy with what he bust his ass for 7 days a week to make ends meet.

Wow I mean buy what food you want with it but don't brag. That's so ugly.. I have them to but right now it's cause I can't work and i get enough just to feed myself and my baby. But man people have no reason to brag..

Yeah I agree, people shouldn't brag and be comfortable living that kind of life style, we use it and I buy what my kids need if I wanna cook a decent something nice once a month I'll buy us a nice lobster no lie , but it's not something I will parade about and brag not cute lol
