switched our LO to Prosobee formula and he does a lot better wirh it, but now he's having troubles…

It could just be him getting used to the change.

@junemomma2, well he has a doctor's appointment today and hopefully they can help without wanted to switch his formula again.

It's most likely his body adjusting like @junemomma2 said.

Unfortunately soy tends to constipate them. my son is on prosobee and he goes everyday, but it's hard. they told me to give karo syrup but it didn't help. now I'm just giving him an ounce of apple prune juice every day and it softens it. just wanted you to know it's not abnormal with the prosobee.

@jgled000, okay thank you! we are heading to his doctors appointment right now, but I don't want his dr. trying to switch his formula again because all the milk based formula we have tried has upset his tummy and made him spit up & she wasnt taking in the consideration that his dad can't have milk and she was going to keep trying milk based formula so we went ahead and switched him.

I switched my son myself too. she didnt think it was a milk intolerance or allergy (even though he had mucusy diarrhea). but he's done so much better on the prosobee. not as gassy, doesnt seem like he's in pain, still spits up but nothing abnormal. hope it works out for you!
