@sarahmariemommy2be, that was kind of unnecessary. People make different decision all the time. To assume that they would be dumb if they didn't is pretty rude. This is suppose to be an uplifting site. Not a "shame on you if you don't do this."
@sarahmariemommy2be, well, saying you'd have to be dumb not to I feel is a personal attack on people making different decision. I personally got it but I know more people who didn't' than did and their kids and themselves are perfectly fine. It's all about your personal beliefs and what you think is right. Some things aren't for everyone.
Well after watching a close family friends baby suffer from wooping cough and loosing his life..its not something to play with they are pressing the issue more then ever because how serous it is. They dont make these vaccinations for no reason they are there for a reason.. And many of them shouldn't be an option.
I've never had the vaccine . I just learned about it at my last appointment. I saw this one video of a baby who passed away because of it & my instinct said get the shot, as of right now it's definitely not a choice it's a necessity. @hermommy
are you sure? to go to school and college it was required? you may just not know you've had it ask your ob she will tll you the shots you've had. I didn't k ow I had mine u til ssh e told me@xoxoalexusss xo
I'm actually not sure , I don't remember getting it when I was pregnant with my son & he'll be 7 this year , I can look through old records & see . @hermommy
Make sure you do your research to make sure its actually right for you. If you're a person who gets sick from vaccines, don't get it because you can spread it while you're actively sick. I have a friend who had never had pertussis until AFTER she got the vaccine. Some people who get the vaccine still get pertussis because not everyone metabolizes the vaccine and its added compounds correctly. A lot of complications have been reported and the efficacy is not exactly sound. it's never safe to assume a vaccine is right for each person. Whooping cough accounts for just 7% of contagious adult illnesses and it's not that common.
