that's even worse :/ you should take the jacket off and buckle... you're putting yourself in so much danger and your unborn baby

At this time with a big coat no I don't buckle up with a big coat, but the kids ALWAYS buckle up @bc8509

Didn't know about the coat part as well, I don't buckle up when I have a big coat on though! You learn something new everyday.. Loose straps should be common sense though 😒 thanks Hun @bc8509

I see it all the time unfortunately... the awareness is greater now so hopefully more people recognize this... this and the looseness of the straps! AND to NEVER buckle your baby or child (or even yourself at that) in a coat any bigger than a sweater... doing so can severely put their lives at risk in the event of an accident :(

To be honest I didn't know or I guess I never paid attention to it while strapping my niece and nephews in! But I know now 👌🏾
