saw a post on fb about kids only needing a bath once or twice a week.. thoughts ladies?

Kids or babies? My lo is 20 days old and gets a bath once to twice a week, per the paperwork given to me at the hopsital

I think 3 baths a week is enough. 2 is too little

I think it depends on the child/what they do every day. My one year old gets a bath when needed, and that's usually 3 times a week. But she doesn't get dirty and is in the house pretty much all day. When they get up in age, sure, wash your body every day. I'm still not letting my daughter wash her hair every single day, my mom made me do that and it ruined my hair. 😐😐😐

Bath or shower? For new borns bathes twice to three times sounds fine they are so small. Sometimes they get wiped up with a warm cloth every day or so they are to little to take bathes to often. Now kids and toddler should at least shower every night before bed.

Ii would bathe my 3 year old every night just not her hair bc like @their.bomb.ass.mom said it can and will mess it up I also believe it depends on it they get dirty lol but judgeing mu her daddy and i we will be lucky if shes ever clean I stayed getting into stuff😩@mommybug

When my daughter gets older I will give her a bath probably every night or every other night. Toddlers tend to be messy lol

@desi720 im trying to find the post but i saw it like 7am and been thinking about ot all day.. like am I doing to much? it broke it down by age.. but o thought from newborn til about a 1 yr or so once or twice depending...(explosive diarrhea vomitting etc) at 3 yrs i think every night is acceptable!

It just depends on your child. Especially this time of year with it being cold, not sweating as much, we do every 2-3 days. If he gets extra dirty then yeah, another bath it is! If it's something you want to do, go for it! But it's not always necessary so it's ok to skip a day or so.

@mommybug, I bathe my kids every night due to the fact NYC have a alot of cases of bed bug in my son school so i bath them at night.... wipe them in the morning & all clothing as jacket, boot & dirty clothes wise stays in entry front door closet 💁 I have school age kids so ijs

@leslie863 i just figure every night made more sense..my kid isnt in school yet but definitely gonna have to continue washing everynight.. idk.. that post just confused me because of the ages it used..

@mommagotbump16 i guess its jusy wants most suitable for every parent.. my kid is always running around and breaks a mean sweat quick .. so once sunmer hits she might need 2 baths a day idk..
