families are so awesome sometimes. my dad and mom have been helping us so much with the nursery set up and around the house because of me being on bed rest. it's such a nice feeling knowing that they care for us and our little one to be so much!

@dohmommy2016, it really is nice to have their help. I have an 80+ lb dog to care for too and it's a pain because he's still a pup with so much energy. and living in a split level house makes that harder. hubby will be taking him on the road tho once baby girl gets here so I won't have to worry about him anymore. I'm just so grateful my dad is doing this for me

@tayek, as far as I can tell he's excited because it's his first granddaughter. but he's one of those guys that doesn't show his emotions at all. so he's hard to read

That's awesome! I hear ya with the dog. my parents came over and got our dog who is 50 pound yesterday when we were at the hospital since I am on bed rest completely now and we don't have a back yard so it's hard to keep taking him out.

@tayek, I hope so 😊 he says he's doing it because it needs to be done before she's here (really it doesn't because she'll be in my room for a few months in the bassinet) and hubby isn't here to do it so someone has to. my brother in law said he would come do it and he could possibly come tomorrow to do it but dad says it'll probably be done by the time he gets here. which by the sounds of it, it'll be done tonight lol. @dohmommy2016 that's nice of them. we live with my parents so it's easier to get the help and we have a huge backyard (not trying to rub it in of course) so the dog gets plenty of exercise. I just feel bad because I'm too pregnant to play with him, dad's too old and tired to play, and my mom doesn't really like him because he's so big and gets over-excited when he plays. hubby misses having him on the truck tho and I won't be able to have him around the baby because he's a jumper and feels like he has to be in your face all the time. not to mention he's soo loud when he barks

Haha oh no I know you weren't rubbing in about not having a yard (: that's nice having lots of help around! my parents live like 5 mins from us so it's nice. I bet being a lab the definitely have alot of energy and tend to be jumpers!!
