technically you will. they instantly give the baby your last name until you change it for birth certificate. but entire time you're in hospital they call it your name.

@ashsmith91 yeah I'm on my dad's insurance too. the thought of divorce scares me and him too. both watching it happen growing up but I'm sure this is what I want now. he's more like family then my own family.

@shananaginsx it's a big leap but I'm sure everybody just wants a stable home for themselves and baby. I'm almost crave it for my child because I know I wanted it so bad.

I just married my SO via the courthouse and we are doing a ceremony later. however I won't be changing my name right away so I can keep my insurance

@cicilovespizza, yeah we have been together for awhile and we want to, just right now financially I guess it's not there. But the feeling would be nice and the name thing I agree.

I've told him that, we have talked about courthouse but he insists I want more and he wants to give me everything he thinks I want. I told him awhile ago I wanted to be married before babies but our life had different plans! Oh well, one day!! Lol
