When you lose the mucus plug do you go straight to the hospital? Or do you wait till you start getting contractions?

Wait until you have contractions. Just because you lose your mucus plug doesn't mean labor is near.

you wait until either your water breaks or the "5-1-1" rule (5 mins apart, for 1 min, for at least a hr) I've lost my mucus plug twice already & doc says it can regenerate so you can lose it more than once.. it does mean that l&d is right around the corner though
