LADIES!🌼

Should i write out a birth plan? do they help/work? i really don't know!

This will be my second (AND LASTπŸ˜…) labour. My first one wasn't planned out or anything and was only 4/5 hours long. I had gas+air & the birthing pool, but as soon as i hit 4cm i WANT the epidural no matter what. so i'm stuck on wether to write a BP or not? :c

I originally had a template online which looked lovely but it got lost and it was a bit of a faff with all the pages so I just wrote on one sheet my birth partners, whether I wanted pain relief, positions for labour, who I wanted to cut the cord ect... It was a god send to me because my partner was helping me breath through and we couldn't really explain what I wanted xx

I had a birth plan and the midwives took it really seriously, I had the most perfect labour and it helped so much knowing I didn't have to explain what I wanted, they all read through it before hand and then did everything I wanted without me having to tell them x

If u don't have to many things to remember about ,I wouldn't write it down ! All I won't is no morphine and I told my partner to tell everyone about it when we go in :) xx @darlingkellie

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?

Started writing out my birth plan. Hoping to have a natural birth without any drugs. I really hope I don't give in to the epidural or any other drug when the time comes....so nervous. Oh well I just gotta think God made us with the capability to give birth without drugs and that at the end it'll be worth it to have a baby with no drugs in his system. I'll look at it as the first sacrifice I have to make as a mother. No pain no gain right lol

Breast pump covered by insurance

Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
