I had mine completely packed by 34 weeks. Make sure to take warm socks, phone chargers, a few different outfits for baby in different sizes, and something comfortable to wear home.
I packed hair products and soaps, warm socks, pjs, slippers, a book, a robe. for baby I packed a few outfits/onesies, a hat, those mittens that prevent them from scratching themselves, 2 blankets. I got both bags completely packed at 38 weeks.
