They supply medical underwear (mesh material), pads, Soap, shampoo, tooth brush and tooth paste, nipple ointment, medical gown. For baby: They provide, diapers, wipes, butt paste, and a night gown.
This is what I packed. Highwaisted underwear I didn't like the medical ones, one comfy night gown, pillow (learned the hard way this last time that if the labor ward is busy they can run out of pillows), make up (if you wish for pictures and guests), brush, hair ties and headbands, toiletries, flip flops for the shower, slippers, CHAPSTICK!, going home outfit... something comfortable and high waisted in case of a c-section I just wore a maxi dress, chargers, tablets and phone along with medical cards etc.
for baby: Outfit for pictures, going home outfit, diaper bag for going home and a blanket for nursing and to wrap. That's it. The hospital likes to use their own gowns.
