personally i think both parents are needed. ive seen families with both and without both and of course they both turn out fine but then theres something missing. when both are not there. and then theres those families that have a one dominate parent that is more involved while both are living in the hpise its like you might as well be a single parent because of the lack of participation.
I see it's not possible to conceive a child without a mother and a father, and I believe God is perfect and have a reason for that..
I also know God is Love, and He loves us even though we do everything different from His plans.. He is there for all os us, and He can guide us in the most difficult situations, as long as we seek Him above all things.
Couldn't agree more. I was raised by just a mother and I am perfectly fine. She was more than enough of a parent doing it on her own. I also have friends who had mothers and father's that were miserable but stayed together "for the kids." They are the ones who really struggle.
I'm saying it would be ideal to have a mother and a father, which doesn't mean a child would not be well raised by anyone who seeks God's help and guidance..
My dad died when I was six. My daughters father hasn't been heard from since I turned up pregnant. He will not be in her life. She will be fine. She has a wonderful uncle, and wonderful grandparents. I have a wonderful support system, and she will have both positive male and female role models. Why does she need the emotional trauma of a father who thinks her life is a revolving door? Because it's not.
A believe a child is better off when they have to dedicated civil parents in their life. And if both parents can't be in their lives then the support from other family members can make a big difference on the child outcome.
