Can you get sweeps before your due date? I see the midwife on Monday if nothing happens before then and I'll be 39+4 weeks. I'm going to get her to check me over and see if I'm dilated because of these on/off contractions. Would she do one if I asked? What are they like? ☺️

yep, did mine at 38 weeks and she was born the next day :) they're kind of sore but not as sore as labour haha I'd definitely go for another one x

Midwives can't until 40 weeks but you can get a doctor too, and had SPD and went the hospital to see a consultant at 39+3 and they gave me one x

They can try but ur cervix has to be soft enough for them to walk it forward and then sweep if ur isn't ready they can't do it @mamapop

I got my first attempted sweep at 39+5 by my midwife I wasn't offered one earlier than that. not that it made much difference like cos she's still in there 😂😂 @mamapop xxx

You can. I had one at 37w5d but I was in hospital at the time for my third reduced movements so maybe that's why x
