My son is a 3 months old. Im adding cereal to his bottles, and using nipple level 2. But its hard for him to suck it and it takes forever , can I change it for level 3?
Adding rice cereal makes him more full. Meaning he eats less than he actually wants in formula. It's fine for nighttime, but try no cereal in the day. It's not nutritionally dense like the formula. Not being all hippy or weird, just science. My doctor told me about it in case we tried it. Babies eat until their body tells them they are full. But it can't tell them they got the nutrients needed. You know?
if that doesn't work it may just be to soon for him to have cereal added to his bottles. Some baby's just aren't ready for it.
Oh ok! Well give him 5oz with your regular scoop of rice cereal that you do for him & see how it goes. it may work you never know. :) You will definitely know if its coming out to fast!
@ashleyjadexo, but my son is 3 months. And he eats 5 oz plus i put little less than full scoop of cereal
my son eats 6oz of formula and one scoop of rice cereal and it worked with the 3 nipple. probably anything less than an oz of rice cereal will cause it to come out way to fast. trust me it happened with my son
he's still young so you don't wanna give him to much
I mixed with milk and didn't use alot of cereal.
I wouldn't suggest its a higher chance of choking. can he hold his head up by himself?
I use level 3 nipples with my 5 month old son because I was having the same problem with him. just pour like an oz of rice cereal or else it'll come out super fast. lol
Level 2 or level 3 nipples for 1 tablespoon of oatmeal cereal in bottle? No hate please. It was ped recommended for severe reflux. And I use dr browns nipples

Обжора❗️ 3 level 😂😂😂
I just found out yesterday that I am 3 weeks pregnant. hcg levels were 265. Is that normal or low
Question ladies.. Have any of you had slow rising HCG levels and everything turned out ok?! Ultrasound went good, measuring 5 weeks & 2 days... But Dr., seemed a little concerned on my levels..?!
My levels..
3 weeks & 6 days= 105
4 weeks & 3 days= 406
4 weeks & 5 days= 1,003
5 weeks= 1,600
5 weeks & 2 days= 2,010
Are these levels looking normal? I'm worried... Praying this works for us! My progesterone levels are good!
update
Levels have dropped to 50. I'll do follow up bloodwork to track it down to 0
@missmommacombs, he still eats full 5 oz, cereal he needs for his reflux, he've been spitting up a lot. Cereal helps to keep food down
