Development varies. My daughter didn't laugh unless it was farts until around two months. Maybe even closer to three. She's developmentally ahead now at two, so I think it does just vary. You can always ask your ped what milestones to expect at each visit.
my baby will be 2 months on the 21st and still no laughs out louds or giggles...every baby is different tho. He does smile alot tho and tries to talk to me.
