Having a waitressing job has its ups and downs. This was definitely one of my favorite ups. Where I waitress our business thrives off the oilfield workers. My boss always says if we take good care of them, they'll take good care of us. Business wise. This man usually comes in every now and then, enough to call him a regular. After waiting on this man and his co-worker he comes back 15-20 mins later asking my boss for a pen, writes this note & tells her to please give this to me. Mind you, he doesn't really talk much while he's there, shy & he was someone I would have NEVER expected this from. My boss tells me to hurry and tell him thank you before he pulls off and still I'm not even sure what I'm thanking him for. It was $100 tip and a note that really touched me. "Remember God is Good." Next time I see this person I'm not even sure how to thank him. This meant so much more than I think he would have imagined. Everyone, everyday is struggling with their own demons and problems like myself. This has a special place in my baby book & I only hope to pay it forward because I didn't realize how good it feels to hear that from someone else. I will always believe God answers every prayer and is always with me thru every good and every bad day. God is good 💙
