can babies develop jaundice a week after birth?

That's good! I wouldn't worry too much if the doctors aren't. I know easier said then done, but we worry enough as it is!

I know it is. my son was very hard to wake up and then he just wanted to fall back asleep while eating. he had to get his levels checked every couple days and finally he was just old enough where it wasnt dangerous or a concern anymore.

my son was jaundice. the dr told me even when it is cloudy that it will still help to put them in the light in nothing but a diaper. and he slept a lot also but make sure you wake her to eat so she's able to flush it out.

what should I look for? shes not very yellow just really sleepy and not interested in my boob as much as she was

she just had a Doctor appointment yesterday and they said she isn't too yellow and just put her in sunlight but today Shes just sleeping way more than like last couple days.

I would make an appointment to get a test done. my son was very jaundice and he had to have a BillI blanket he almost went to the hospital

there is no sunlight here hasn't been for like 3 days.. @elenalee well Shes not extremely yellow but she's been sleeping a lot more and that's a sign but it scares me. @gremlinsmommi @paigemay123
