I've never heard of a baby expressing themselves. lol. that's not right. it's better you nip it in the butt now because you lose so much sleep and come off yelling at her over it.

@kelseys, my husband works 2 full-time jobs and he couldn't get his rest because her 8months old was crying and my husband got up and all she said was i can't control how she feels so i have to let her express her anger ...that girl was screaming her lungs out

tell her if she won't control her kids that she needs to find somewhere else to stay family or not. you need your sleep as well as your kids.

I get you, but you also can't let them walk all over you.

my cousin was living with my family and she had a son who at the time was 4, still wearing diapers, so when she would run out she would use my sons, still giving her son a bottle at night with milk, waking up in the middle of the night, and crying for everything. it got to the point where my mom did tell her something because my mom was waking up at 315am for work, myself at 6am for school and step dad had work also. I get it, its her kids, but she also has to be mindful since she is in someone else's house, and if she doesnt like it then she should leave

@thestarsinorlove, @losmartinez that's what am thinking because is not fair for my kids to miss sleep and not fair for me to have to deal with this when my own kids are not allowed to make a scene like this but at the same time i don't know how to be mean...i don't know if you girls get me??

sometimes being a bit mean is the only solution.

you need to put your foot down. I understand that she needs this place to stay but if your child is missing out on sleep than something needs to be done

there also needs to be a limit for kids' bratiness. I'd give her an ultimatum. either she controls her kids or she needs to find somewhere else to go!
