How did you ladies explain to your kid about teeth falling out? My son (5) looked at me while going to bed and said "mom, I still have my teeth" I had no clue what he meant I laughed and said "well yeah you still have them" and he told me that his friend at school cut his teeth out (lol) so I said "oh kaeson's teeth fell out?" He said yeah he needs to get different ones. I told him they will grow back but I'm trying to find a way to explain to him how it works in a way he will understand..especially since it will soon happen with him.

when your born you have no teeth when you're older you start to grow them and then the fall out so you can have your big boy teeth

I told my son that his baby teeth fall out when he doesn't need them anymore and then the tooth fairy takes them to the old people because they need them when their teeth get old and fall out. He absolutely loved the idea of his teeth being "recycled" and is so excited every time he has a wiggly tooth because he said he wants to help old people so they can chew their food lol
