it doesn't matter if you have the perfect pregnancy.
it doesn't matter if you are high risk or not.
it doesn't matter if you girlfriend did it or some girl did it and her baby turned out "fine"
drinking during pregnancy is not ok and not worth the risk of your baby health, I don't care what anyone says. it's not ok....
(FASD) is not something to downplay if you don't know what that is look it up then decide if your baby's is worth your one damn glass of wine
@noemysmom, Good for you! I'm right there with you. Hopefully this time I stick with it and don't pick it back up!
I've never liked drinking in General never have never will and will never risk my daughter's health for that. I was a smoker to but the no it's those positives popped up on my hpt I have all my cigs to my ex and quit that days I haven't had a cigarette in 7 months!!
I don't see the point in having one glass of wine or one beer anyways. So many people have told me... one won't hurt anything.... yeah and it also won't do anything for me so why would i risk the slight possibility that it does have an effect on my baby? If you can't go nine months without a drink for the sake of your own unborn baby then there's something wrong in my opinion. I think the same way about smoking. I did before both of my pregnancies and quit when I found out. someone told me "I'm amazed that some people can just quit when they find out they're pregnant." And I thought "I'm amazed by people who aren't concerned enough about their baby's well being to quit when they find out."
he's an amazing man, husband and father. it doesn't really define the person he is but it definitely contributes to a lot of the issues he has. I don't get how some women can say one glass is fine when they haven't met someone who suffers from FASD because of their mothers choice to drink!
so you can understand why it's so upsetting I mean I struggle so much and I only have the spectrum not the syndrome
my mother-in-law drank while pregnant with my husband he was born with fetal alcohol syndrome definitely NOT worth it. even if it's ONE glass of wine on a special occasion! our babies deserve better choice than that!
and there's nothing wrong with your own opinions of course but as a child of FASD.
I wouldn't do it ever
eh everyone has options. I believe a glass of wine is okay. one glass. not one every day. but one glass of wine on a special occasion. I wouldn't do it. but I believe it would be okay

It's ok to say that pregnancy sucks. Because for some, it does. Not everyone has a pregnancy with no symptoms or complications to complain about. If you admit it sucks, it doesn't mean you're not greatful or don't love your baby. It just means you're being honest. The same with motherhood. That sucks sometimes too. That doesn't mean you don't love your kids and don't do your best to give them the world. I know it's old but it popped up in a snapchat story about how people (Especially other moms)...
Ladies what were some of your early pregnancy symptoms and how soon did you get them ?
graduate
What year did you graduate high school?
right I don't want to start smoking again but knowing me I will
