I have a question!!
I've been doing some research on the early clamping & delayed clamping of the umbilical cord, do I an my spouse have say so if we want it delayed & will the Dr's ask us before hand?

chances are, most drs won't ask.. so it's best to have a birth plan with that specified so that your Dr and hospital staff know what you want
my Dr gave me a form to fill out but I had one written anyways...just who I want there with me, anything special you want done, pain management and such...just a plan to make so Dr's and nurses know what you want...I make copies for everyone but I ended up having a c section but they were so great in sticking with everything. I would ask your dr and they can talk to you about different options and what to put in your plan

yes you have a say...put it in the birth plan and also mention at the time. I was going to do it and hospital was all for it but I had a c section and couldn't have it done.

@floress_j, I'm making mine very colorful so everyone can see it lol. gotta bring it with you when you go into labor and also go over it with your dr before then too (:
