I've decided that I will spoil my daughter bur I won't buy her every little thing she asks for. She needs to learn that you can't always get what you want. I was told no and I respect my mother for that decision. (btw not judging anyone who thinks otherwise, you ladies do as you wish with your children) it's just how I'm gonna raise my daughter and that's my choice.

lol yeah ... my god daughter TRIES me .. and i pop that ass.. watch your mouth! lol but our kids will try us lol especially is daddy believes they do NO wrong lol

My friends little sister is 9. 9! and if she doesn't get her way she screams at the top of her lungs and if we don't let her go outside cause she's threatening to run to her grandparents which is pretty far so she'll stick her face by an open window and yell help. like no child lol. and the littlest was running her mouth and screaming at me and calling me bad names like something a 6 year old shouldn't know so I popped her in the mouth and best believe she stopped. (I mean it wasn't hard enough to hurt her but definitely enough to scare her) @lilfree16

spoiling is fun! just not when they beg. you're right, asking mommy is acceptable, just not begging and throwing a fit. I do believe in a good swat on the butt, I think it more hurts their feelings than hurt lol :)
