does anyone else feel that female nurses and ob's are a little more rough with cervix checks?
my shit still hurts from last night when the nurse was checking my cervix. what made it more awkward. Sebastian had JUST made it to the hospital and got to my room when she was checking my cervix and he saw the expression on my face register as "ow bitch " but I couldn't form words at all bc it hurt and had to sit there and say "are you sure you should be in there that far..her face says 'pain' right now "

@mommychina_, she was seeing if I was dilated because I was having BHC that was lasting an hour. she had to check to see if I was going into preterm labor

yes! my female NP was very rough when I had to be checked 2 weeks ago, also due to BH Contractions. I was sore for over a day

@jossymom, Right? I'm not used to women checking my cervix. my ob is a man and he wasn't nearly as rough as she was. IDK if she just feels weird doing it and feels the need to be rough to prove dominance or something. but. ugh ouch.

@xbbycolletto, I don't blame you! rest is probably best for it right now! maybe try an ice pack to alleviate some pain? it helped me
