It's buttery pastry with cinnamon and in this case it has a cream cheese filling. They are topped with a glaze and some places top them with tons of sprinkles. I've tried a ton and this is my favorite but everyone has their own preferred one. I just don't like them dry or with too many sprinkles and prefer the shimmery colored glaze.

@aliska92, Oh no! How could that be? What a shame!!!! No ma'am, not from there. Lived in Lake Charles/ Sulphur as a kid and have visited many times since. Was there this past May actually.

Lol- see and now I can't handle seafood anymore for some reason. I'd eat as many crabs and crawdads as they'd give me when I was younger though. My favorite is Boudin and Red Beans and Rice.
