Setting an induction date ! 😳😊 im a FTM , what do they usually do when you go in to set up an imduction date ?

my induction date was 12 days before my due date so I wasn't dilated enough and my son got stuck in the birthing canal

Is there a reason I would possibly get a c section if i choose an iff date ? @esthersue

I had high blood pressure last night when i went in thinking i was in labor. But your right there should be a reason. And they didnt tell me. I will ask when i go in too see why. If not. I will definitely wait ! @amandaroper012287

my sister was induced, they give you pitocin deepening on your body it could go easily or be rough but I wouldn't say pitocin is what does it

is there a reason you are being induced? like a medical problem? Because pitocin is going to make your labor 1000 times worse so I really wouldn't do that unless it's necessary..it's better to let labor start on it's own..I swear I see every other woman on here getting induced like it's the cool thing to do lol

all they do it's pick a date to have your baby just make sure it's as close to your due date as possible that way your less likely to get a emergency C-section

I've never been medically induced, but I've had it threatened two times. They will put you on an iv and give you pitocin. Sometimes they will give you something vaginally first to see if it starts contractions, but most of the time they go straight to the pit.
