So I just left my daughters wic appointment and they had the nerve to tell she's overweight and to cut back on how much she's getting lol.. Idk how they determine a preemie being over weight but obviously their calculation are off.. She was born at 34 weeks 2 days and only weighed 3lbs 4oz.. She's 7months actual age but 5months adjusted.. She weighed in at 14lbs ..
They said she's over weight because she's short. But they haven't realized I'm short, her dad ain't but so tall.. I told her Doctor what they said and they said they shouldn't take her off her milk because of that she's on it for a reason. @conor2015 @wyatts_mommy_0106 @ezaja
i can only imagain what they will tell me... bby born 32 weeks about to be 7 months and weight 17lbs....
Pfft I hate the wic office staff most think they know it all. I always go by the Dr anyways cause they know better than the wic office in my opinion not every baby is the same and with a preemie they have to play the catch up game in the weight department
@wyatts_mommy_0106 I told the lady I was like the Doc never said she was over weight. She tried to tell me she doesn't need neosure anymore because it's high calorie
They should use a different growth chart for preemies cause I asked the wic office about my sons weight just to make sure he was on track since he was a preemie as well the dude actually used a different chart for him since he was a preemie and was right on track I would have told them off like as long as she is gaining since she was 3lbs at birth and healthy how do they except you to cut her feedings smh freaking ppl
@their.bomb.ass.mom If it wasn't for the fact she's on this special milk I wouldn't be dealing with wic because of that reason
Half the time the people at WIC don't know what the hell they're talking about. I hate doing those "doctor appointments." They're a bit of a joke. At least where I go.
yup always go bybwhat the dr says
