I did after 24 months. I think 12-18 is acceptable. And after 18 I think I did more like oh my son is 1 and a half

I just feel like feel like some women drag it, not ready for the baby to get older but it happens lol still your baby just isn't an infant anymore

The reason moms do that is because up until two the babies have different developmental stages each month, so when someone says "oh he/she is 18 months old" they're saying that their baby is at a certain developmental stage... I learned this is my child development class in college last year... You are only supposed to do it until two because that's when they are technically a toddler

I've honestly never have heard anyone refer to their child's developmental stage after he/she's been born or unless the child is falling behind in certain areas PLS NO ONE TAKE OFFENSE TO ANYTHING. Agree! even until 18 months is not so confusing, but would be even less confusing if people would just say 1 yo, or 1,5 yo something like this
