So yesterday I had an appt with my family doctor (my obgyn can't see me until next month). My dr asked me if I wanted to hear the heartbeat and got out this ancient looking Doppler and after trying for about a minute....she said she couldn't find the babies heartbeat....she continued to tell me "I think everything is ok" ummmm needless to say I'm kinda worried! Anyone else's dr not able to find the heartbeat? I'm 14 weeks

I would go to emerg at the hospital. That happened at my drs aswell & I went to go make sure baby was okay. I asked for an ultrasound to ease my mind! They can't tell you no!! I would give it a try.

we went in at 12 weeks. no heartbeat. and then I started to spot. :( we went into emerg and got an ultrasound. Please go in just to make sure your bean is okay.

We didn't hear my sons till almost 17 weeks because he was laying in a tricky position and then couldn't get it, and clearly all is well with him

I should add my obgyn had been one for nearly 20 years. sometimes babies just hide in weird spots, my son stayed curled behind my pubic bone until his was too large to hide there

Thanks for everyone's advice I am going to go to a quick care clinic tonight....I will see if they have a better Doppler and more experienced person to check me and hopefully heartbeat is found! Otherwise I will head to emerg! @alwaysdream @eli.keiths.mommy @ev14
