Woke up with this on my hip... The actual bump hurts, but around it is not sore or tender at all... What the heck is it???

Some cysts are painful. I get them. I would go to the doctor since everything everyone is saying it could be your saying it's not.. Only a doctor would no for sure lol.
It's soft to the touch and I can sqish it but it hurts. It doesn't have a hole nor does it itch so it's not a bite of any kind. Not an ingrown cuz there's no hair right there (near there yes, but not there). My first thought was a cyst, but cysts aren't painful
I get these sometimes. I forgot what my doctor calls it, but sometimes they go away and sometimes they end up needing to be drained. Keep an eye on it and watch for color change.
Definitely not a bite. It's under my skin @hermommy
