I have been really struggling with my job lately. More or less my boss and I feel like my husband is sick of listening to me about it. I just miss my old job and the residents there and the people I use to work with. I have been at this job since August and I have gone from the weekend chef to their full time night chef and then was asked that when my boss leaves would I be interested in her position. Well when my boss found out she has now just been very rude and saying rude comments to me. I can't go to the director of the company because then she'll go to my boss and my boss will make my life even more hell. My boss is like bipolar or something because some days she is nice and then others she is rude and nasty and usually it's because a resident had stopped her and told her that they liked a dinner I made. I just don't know what to do anymore and it's making me a very angry person and makes me hate cooking because she is so negative towards me when I get compliments.
and tbh management doesnt like to be involved.. 9 times out of 10 if shes been there for a while.. management won't believe that shes being horrible.. take notes on every day because if something happens you have ur evidence.. good luck and keep your head up ♡
@courtney_boyea, I would suggest that you make sure you dont gossip.. just kill her with kindness its a blessing shes leaving lol just keep that in mind dont take anything she says to heart because you are doing a great job and if you realize that no one elses opinions matter.. jealousy is very much so common in the work field as a nurse i have been bullied by much older nurses.. i just learned that no matter what you do people who are jealous will continue to try and bring you down so its up to you to rise above the bitterness.. they wont change.. ive even had nurses jeopardize patients to destroy my career ex.. a nurse continued to put TB syringes where we keep our insulin syringes.. when i first started out i was a new nurse and if i didn't pay attention to detail i could've really hurt or killed someone.. I'm telling you this because just be extra careful because with jealousy comes sabotage.. as long as you continue to be in good spirits and pay extra attention to your work you may be able to stay until she leaves so sad ppl are this way
That's what my mom said to me and I'm like this woman is 57 years old... And she is jealous of a 25 year old. She has so many years of experience and I was hoping to learn from her and have her be a role model but that is not the case anymore @Mrs moore
it's clearly jealousy I would worry about and she also know you capable of taking her spot
rude rude rude
I have had several rude comments the past two weeks . One lady asked if I was pregnant or just fat. And today, I decided to get a milkshake, and my boss proceeded to tell me that I am getting puffy in the face and that she I've been eating unhealthy... all from one cookout burger and shake. whyyyy do people think it's ok to say insulting things to a pregnant woman.

Just seen this email from my manager to my boss as I emailed my boss asking for my hours to be reduced...would you say that this email would be enough proof that they are discriminating against me and that they are purposely making my job difficult???
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
My mil wants me to call her to talk about my birthing plan because she doesn’t agree with it...what do I even say without being rude. I’m heated.
Oh no you were so excited about this!
