I don't think it's any more humiliating than a catheter. the part she didn't mention was, when they release the liquid it shoots up into your rectum automatically breaking down the poop forcing it to come out right then so they, I am assuming, will catch it with a bucket. that's usually what happens with all of my patients. good luck! lol

It's basically a syringe filled with a liquid. Like a liquid laxative.

I had one when I was like 3 so I don't remember how it worked but I didn't like it lol they stick something in your butt that makes you empty your bowels. You'll have enough time to make it to the bathroom but that's about it lol
