I am so upset😱😥 I know pregnancy takes its toll on your body especially with some women your teeth but I brush, floss, never use whitening agents even use Sensodyne toothpaste but I feel like my sensitivity has gotten worse and now I chipped my back tooth. I'm in shock, it is in the way back and it wasn't healthy had a cavity from when I was a teenager but I'm so very sensitive about my teeth. Anyone else have major issues with their teeth? I'm worried about going to dentist and now I have to go with this pain/open tooth until I have baby😢

same happened to me and now I'm going through it all over again. definitely go to the dentist

it's safe, even recommended to go to the dentist when pregnant. im having issues with my gums bleeding in one spot all of a sudden

my to be mother in law lost a few of her teeth durring her 2nd and 3rd pregnancies.the babbies sucked the calcium right out of her body.aybe take a calcium supplement. I was told by my ob that it's ok to see the dentist but there are certain things that's not safe for the baby.

Thanks ladies, I am going to get ahold of dentist tomorrow and hope see me ASAP to put a temporary cap on it or something until actual X-rays & work can be done @aj33 @raemeg @zekeysmommy222

@chewy1228, I take my prenatal and before I got pregnant I was taking a calcium supplement. Just time and baby taking it's toll on me I'm sure.

Dentist is fine during pregnancy, just tell them Youre pregnant!

I broke my back tooth with my second child. I think I was about 6 months or so. The second trimester is safest to have dental work done. This pregnancy I've had a root canal and a filling. I need my wisdom teeth out, but dentist says to wait until after baby. I'd ask your OB.

Already feeling better ladies 😊 @bubblebeck I didn't know that was possible during pregnancy unless emergency I'm calling dentist as soon as they are open!!

It just depends...you are already in your 3rd trimester, so even if your OB approves it, you'll still have to find a dentist that will do the work. If anything maybe they could put some type of temp sealant on it like you said. I feel your pain! I hope it gets taken care of soon!
