Be careful taking cold medicine, & ask your doctor first to be sure. Some cold & flu medications are made with an ingredient that's used to make meth, & can cause you & baby to test positive for meth when baby is born. It's not a HUGEEE deal, once you give them a piece of hair to prove you haven't been using that. But up until then its definitely not a fun time in the hospital.

Tylenol is about all there is that may work. If it's a cough, robitussin worked wonders for me but I've still had a sore throat for 2 weeks. Sometimes you just have to let the cold run its course and rest.

I always used Tylenol cold and cough.

Medicine doesn't get rid of the cold just the symptoms. I have avoided most of my pregnancy.
