39 weeks in 1 hour!! There was 2 things I've wanted to do throughout this whole pregnancy.. Try to breastfeed, and go the 'full 40'. Welpppp breastfeeding isn't going to work out, so I'm still rooting for going another week!! My mom is getting super anxious, and so is my husband. Even my dog!! I keep yelling at my momma telling her to leave her granddaughter alone for 7 more days and no I'm not going to roll around on my yoga ball and ride on bumpy roads! Haha!! As uncomfortable as I am.. I keep telling myself, only 7 more days until EDD. My birthday is on the 13th--wouldn't that be something?!
@sgb, I really did want to breastfeed.. And my husband REALLY WOULD PREFER IT haha he didn't like that I've changed my mind..but it's not that I don't want to, I suffer from anxiety and sometimes depression, and in order for me to be the best mom I can be, and the best mom for my daughter--I need to get back on my medication. I refuse to breast feed on medication--I don't care who says its okay. You do what YOU FEEL is right.. I know there are lactation consultants at the hospital, and many more people to help you if you do decide to take the breastfeeding route. As I was crying in my OBs office about feeling guilt.. She said to me "you know...your baby will not starve if you don't breastfeed"..... Of course I knew that.... But I REALLY needed to hear it. I hope it helps you too!!
I agree!! What an amazing birthday that would be for me now, and for every birthday for the rest of my life!! I hope to someday have the relationship I have with my mother, with her--and I feel sharing a birthday would enhance that!
the idea of breastfeeding terrified me, everyone is saying its OK. but I don't believe them
I think It would be really cool to share your birthday with your daughter
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
