help! I'm 12 days post partum from a vaginal birth and today have been having some pain in my pelvic area and back. My bleeding since birth has been on and off heavy, and I'm still having to wear big pads. BUT just now when I was changing, I bled bright red straight onto the floor like I had peed...is that normal?!
@levleah, @nadiahuynh I was wondering if that may have been why. I wouldn't say I was more active but I was up and on my feet more than usual. I'll watch it and see if it lightens up after laying down. thank you ladies
@mango44, I had no idea I was bleeding like that, or I would have. definitely will now though lol
that happened to me when I was doing too much too soon. I'd just watch it over night... if it's still bright red in the morning, I'd see your ob/gyn.
Are you active? I noticed the more I was up and around the more I would bleed. I'd call your Doc and just let them now especially since you're having pain.
oh my... 😥 why didn't you sit on the toilet so you didn't bleed everywhere?
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
I been off my birth control pills since April this year
Good morning ladies. Sorry I been ignoring yall but I have been so miserable the past days I'M STILL PREGNANT my contractions would be strong for hours and it looked like I was gonna have a baby then everything just stopped so I got sent home. they said I have to wait till my appointment Wednesday so I can talk to my doctor about the next step. I HATE THIS 😢😢😩
Ok so I have placenta previa and I have been having really sharp shooting pains in my vagina. I Google'd it and it said that normally happens later in pregnancy when the baby is getting into the birth canal and preparing for birth. So now I'm freaked out. Anyone else had this.
So I found out my friend has herpes. She's known awhile and she's been around my baby since birth. Herpes is fatal to infants. How would you have reacted?
@kmlac7, good luck, girly! I bled pretty heavily for about 4 weeks.
