Ladies, I have a question. Do any of you know of any grants or cash assistance for rent in michigan? I just kicked out my emotionally abusive boyfriend so it's just me now :/ I tried through DHS but it takes almost a month and if you find a job they don't help you at all.. I have a few interviews set up but I'll only get one paycheck this month most likely because of the hold most places have. Help?

Go to Michiganhousinglocator.com type in your zip code then go to advanced search and click on based on income and it should bring up a list of apartmwnts based off income. Call a few places and ask them if they have apartments available with rental assistance.
