It's so hard to deal with parents and in laws while parenting. It's like I know they think they know "best" but just like them we (us new/slightly seasoned moms) also know "best" which is what's best for OUR child. And, while you feel like you did so well on raising YOUR child that doesn't mean you can take over on raising this one. In fact, nothing pisses me off more then someone interfering with my parenting. The hardest part (for me) is remaining respectful and not getting mad while trying to set those boundaries. Because personally I just want to look at them and say "CAN YOU F*CKING NOT?!?!?!??" Ughhh ok rant over lol

I feel the same way. I worry my boyfriends mom is going to try to do that and I'm going to get mad because honestly, she has no say because 3/4 of her kids are horrible people. Glad I snagged the good one.

My in laws are the exact same way! Pisses me so much and they've even gone so far as to tell us where we can move to and how much they think we can afford. It's not their marriage or their baby. Yep, I feel ya

I know the feeling .. My mom acts the same way she doesn't even like me finishing talking my stepmom is getting us the crib and my mom is running her mouth saying we don't need it yet . The thing is I never told my stepmom to get it yet .

I don't deal with it anymore...I got rid of his parents and mine...lifes so much better and have no more drama. best thing we ever did!
