It is possible.. Because the "girl" sperm tend to last longer in the vagina/uterus but swim slower, and "boy" sperm swim faster but don't last as long in the environment. I have heard of people using this method and it working.

@jesjeslovesyou, there's actually been research on it. The theory is that sperm with male genetics swim faster but aren't as hearty. Sperm with the female chromosome swim slow but can live longer. So if the sperm has to wait to get to the egg it is likely that only the female sperm will survive. It hasn't been scientifically proven or anything, but there is research and reason behind this rumor.

@jesjeslovesyou, it takes research to prove a theory. But I doubt that it's something really high on the priority list for scientists. There is evidence backing it up just not enough to be conclusive. I wasn't trying to start anything. Just read an article about it the other day and thought it was really interesting and trying to point out how it does make some sense. It's not like some wives tales that come out of nowhere.

it's known that male sperm swim faster die quicker. girl sperm slower but live longer. I have my chart saved but I had sex November 23rd thru November 26th once a day and I ovulated November 27th and I'm having a girl per harmony blood test. but it is also really hard to be exact on when you will ovulate, or exactly how long it will take the sperm to travel / especially if they're not 100% healthiest, etc. so no guarantees of course.

@miss.dea.nicole, thought I would share a cute little something with you. the Chinese gender prediction was correct with both my girls. I know it is probably all bogus or what not but it made I fun lol.
