Did anyone else let their baby taste babyfood at 3 months?

yea...I did...I even started my daughter on cereal & rice in her milk...

i tried baby cereal but not baby food...could i start him this early?@andrewsmommy

@jasminemb92 do you give it to her in the bowl or bottle? I've gave him the rice cereal a couple times from a bowl. doctor said not to do a bottle.

@caseysmommy my doctor said it was fine to let him have a couple taste here and there.

@andrewsmommy I did a bottle...I jus didn't make it really thick jus a Lil thicker...doctors tell yu not a bottle bekuz sometimes ppl make to big of a hole in the nipple & it cud choke the baby if they hold their own bottle or yu prop it up or watever...

Can I ask why? There's really no point at that young.

@mommastone So he can start to taste solids and get use to new things. as from what his doctor told me.

He would get use to things when you start at 6 months which is recommended. I do not agree with your doctor. I would look into it.

@mommastone i looked into and they said 3 months was fine too. not an all the time thing though. just taste here and there.
