My poor husband went to the doctor today after 2 days or fever and unbearable cough... He has pneumonia 😕 the bad thing is though that I have now been coughing unbearably as well and my chest is on fire plus kinda short of bteath... I have an appointment with my OB Wednesday if it doesn't clear should I mention this?

im sure they will approach it a little differently but you'd rather go on and see if you can get it checked out and cleared up before baby gets here so you don't pass it on. the baby's immune system doesn't need to take on pneumonia for sure. I would just get Dr. to check it out and hope its just a chest cold for now. either way the doc will know what to do and the safest way to fix it. best of luck. hope it is just something simple.

yes. I had bronchitis that turned into pneumonia. was in the hospital for a week on iv antibiotics, steroids for lungs, and breathing treatments. now when I get tired I have trouble breathing which has happened a lot during late pregnancy. scar tissue in both lungs. catch it early so the same doesn't happen to you. :)
