I had the epidural and I regret it everyday. I have not had a day without back pains. My next time around I am going natural birth. @savysavage0
I feel like im more scared for the epidural then the contractions
@mommysbabydaddymaybe2, I'm nervous too though. I'm making it to that hospital in time to get that shot..better believe that!
@savysavage0, You'll probably be in so much pain that you will make sure you are still.... then again some women can go without it... you won't really know until that time comes.. my friend had all 4 of her natural without any pain meds
but i heard if you move while they are giving it to you is bad and i am always scared with needles so im likee mehhhh@mommysbabydaddymaybe2
@gcpaschal, Very true... I didn't feel it either. @savysavage0 its funny because for some reason I'm nervous about getting one with this one like I haven't already had one before lol
This is my first and I'm getting the epidural. My sister has two kids and she said the same thing. That needle is the last thing you think about when that pain is there. She said she didn't feel it.
@savysavage0, thats how I felt with my first but then the pain kicked in and a needle was the last thing on my mind! lol I just wanted the pain gone
Some people get sore for months in the spot from the needle, others never notice the spot again, just a risk you take if you feel you need meds. I will be skipping it.
@savysavage0, that's prob how everyone feels. I swore I wasn't getting it with my first. But personally I couldn't take the pain and decided to get it. I didn't look at the needle and I barely felt anything. It's all in your personal choice. I wouldn't worry about it until your at the hospital to see how you feel.
im just scared of a big ass needle going in my back and this is my fist pregnancy so idk how i will respond
@savysavage0, it's all up to you and how you handle the pain. If you think you need it then get it. If not then awesome! All about how you feel(:
