Could that be why? I got my flu shot when I found out I was pregnant and had a little dose of the flu for a day or two. I don't take medicine, hardly ever get sick, and never take any flu shots so that injection made me feel horrible! try some tea and honey and lots of rest. Good luck mama.
Try sleeping with a body pillow to help with pain, keep water by you & take the smallest sips possible at a time to keep from throwing it all up, or try eating a few bits of crushed ice here & there so you can stay hydrated. A warm bath with Epsom salt helps me all the time. I take one whenever I can!
I'd just call your OB if you're willing to take nausea medication. They'll prescribe you some. Compazine is supposed to be "older than dirt" & safer than Zofran, which is what an OB at my hospital told me. I've had no luck from nausea medication though.
Is it morning sickness? When I was 5-8 weeks I was so sore, having hot flashes, throwing up (but still do that), & a stuffy nose plus I could barely sleep & oh my god was I freaking crabby. 😳
That's when u get sick your immune systems weakens to protect the baby. I haven't had a cold in years but battled one for 2 weeks just now feeling better. Hang In there hunnie! @mommy2b4
