I feel kind of ignorant but hopefully you ladies will understand ...I have a 6 month old son and we have started on baby food ... However, I am clueless as to how much to feed and when ?! My son usually doesn't take but about 4oz of formula at a time and has 1-2 jars/containers of baby food per day ... I am quickly learning that he needs more baby food in his diet .. I have been researching schedules and trying a few but nothing is working for us ... Either he isn't hungry yet or he cries until he gets another bottle instead of baby food ...
My baby definitely won't starve he is a chunk ... I just feel like I have been giving too much formula and not enough food ... We will get it figured out ... Thank you ladies so much @izzysmommy1003 @twinmamma2015 @fiona01
every baby is different . I had a big baby she ate one whole jar plus one half of another and have a 6-8 oz bottle just depends on how hungry they are . trust me they won't starve lol
sometimes if they're to hungry they may not eat, and just want a bottle, I found out worked better for my boys
my boys will take 4 to 6 oz of formula and 3 to 6 oz of baby food (I make their own) and they just turned 5 months. every baby is different. I give them a bottle, wait about 1 hr then offer them the food, then wait about an hour after and offer another bottle. sometimes they take 1 to 6 ounces depending on how full they were from the food.
it's definitely hard! I'm struggling with that myself, with what I'm reading and what they actually take I'm like holy crap! lol! my boys are chunky monkeys lol! But I'm definitely having a hard time with this myself, good luck hun!!
