Okay mommies I need some advise. I keep hearing if uou drink castor oil.mixed with orange juice it can induce labor. I've also heard eating a whole fresh pineapple can induce labor. What is yalls take on this?

I got my capsules from kroger in the vitamin section. took me a minute to find them lol and they weren't badly priced either. and I'm a horrible pill taker and thankfully they aren't giant horsepills lol
@kolesmommy2016, yeah a lot of pregnant women take it to soften the cervix. some even break them open and rub the oil on them down there. I wasn't into all that lol I just took them orally. my sister did the same thing too. you can research them if you'd like. I did for two weeks before I decided to take them. a couple days later I lost my plug and then by the next week I was in labor
evening prim rose oil. I took them and had baby a week later....it softens the cervix
Haha yeah. Been loosing parts of my plug for weeks and been at 1cm since 37 weeks. Stubborn babies.
@kmally, holy moly!!! I'm 36+2 plug is out not sure how dilated I am. I can tell my pelvic is opening up cause I have to have a pillow between my legs. & @_akgirl guess I'll be going to get some fruit haha!!
kiwi and mangoes have the same thing as pineapple so do all 3!
Haha yeah definitely try it but don't get your hopes too high. I've been trying walking sex yoga ball dancing for the last week. Did the same with my son too. He didn't come til 41+1 and I'll be 40 weeks on Friday this time around haha.
well dam! I like pineapples but not that much haha!! I can do the sex thing & I walk as much as I can! didn't even think about the yoga ball! I'll have to try that!
Castor oil is super dangerous. And for pineapple to work you need to eat like 7 of them whole with the cores 😂 sex, walking and yoga ball may help. But until baby's ready baby won't come. Trust me haha.
Do not do the castor oil too many stories about it going bad for baby or mommy.
castor oil is dangerous caused baby to have a bowel movement in the womb and they can swallow it
