I have a 3yr old and I'm due at the end of the month and I'm kinda scared because she is a big time mommy's girl. What are something I can do to get her okay with a new baby in the house. she has never been around one before.?.?.

I saw someone suggest getting the older sibling a goody bag filled with little gifts and stuff from the new baby. Also keeping her involved like Mommy's little helper and saying how much the new baby just adores having her for a big sister.

I was about to say maybe get her a new baby to take care of. I have a 2 1/2 year old and this is what my friend said they did with her daughter. they had someone bring a new baby to the hospital swaddled up just like the new real baby will be. They also bought a doll carrier to bring the baby doll home in. They did everything like what you will be doing with real baby. I thought it was a neat idea. I eventually want to get my daughter a whole set like crib, stroller and all the works. I hope it will help. I worry bc she is up my butt all the time, but also super independent. but when she wants her momma she wants her momma!! good luck girl.

He was excited to be a big brother but the last few days he is something else. I don't know what to say or do.

I have the same fear with my 5 year old. He is my mommas boy to the fullest and he already hates his unborn sister who is going to be here in 2 weeks.
