how do.you do the kick counts and how long after baby doesnt move should i be worried? my daughter never did this but i havent felt my son move in almost an hour.
I get worried too because he does this a lot but he has been fine. They also have growth spurts and I heard that affects movement too.
its still early a I'm 26 weeks and my son goes days without really being active. Baby is still small at this stage so some movements you may not feel also baby's position can affect you feeling movements. Kick counts don't start until 28 weeks and its suppose to be 10 in 2 hours. Don't worry
I've been laying down for quite some time. I've been awake since 7 and i dont really recall feeling him at all in this time. and its 11 now..
you shouldn't worry about kick counts until 28 weeks and then it's 10 kicks in two hours I hardly felt my daughter move until 29 weeks when she really started moving a lot some babies are just more active , if your concerned call your doctor or try drinking something cold and laying on your left side
My nurse and I just talked about this. She says to lay down if you can in a quiet area and then keep track of every movement for an hour. She also said 10 in an hour, however I have heard from another nurse 10 in 2 hours.
I'll be 22 weeks in two days. do you not worry about it if youre not 28 yet? or what should i do @cheche27
My doctor told me to start around 32, maybe it's different for everyone id ask your doc at your next appointment (:
put an ice pack on your belly and drink ice water. babies hate the cold.
