They don't usually test for marijuana, but some do.

I know they also tested my son for group b strep cause I didn't get the antibiotics in time. he got tested for jaundice as well

I have no idea. My son was born with an infection so they took him into nicu for antibiotics but the dr that delivered me just knew he had something wrong with him when I had him so they took him like 10 minutes after.

Usually hospitals test newborns and the placenta for any kind of drugs. weed,coke,heroine, crack, meth, etc

Both, they also test for sickness and disease

They do a blood test on you while your pregnant to see if they'll have any Down syndrome or problems if that's what your asking
