I need some help. my mother-in-law is right down my neck at all times when I'm doing stuff with my son. lately she won't let me do anything with him if he's crying and I'm comforting him she'll take him from me. last night she wouldn't let me put him asleep she came in and woke him up and asked if he wants to sleep with her! I need help I want to be able to parent my child without her trying to be his mommy. how can I tell her to back off nicely my husband won't say anything to her so I have to

Remind her YOU'RE his mother. She's gonna feel some type of way regardless how you tell her. Don't let her make you miss out on raising your child. Let her know you understand she's just trying to help but you have to do it to learn.
